Helping Texas Landowners Restore Native Habitat For Wildlife

In 2004, WHF began it's mission working on 200 acres of habitat in 2 counties.  In 2007, the original 7-mile WHF Quail Corridor was built between the Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge (APC NWR) and our current headquarters located in Caat Spring.

Over the past 13 years, WHF has expanded its efforts, working with over a hundred landowners, affecting over 40,000 acres. Though our focal map only shows 17 counties, WHF has actually left its footprint in 25 Texas counties.
