Parks and Natural Areas Roundtable Meeting for Sept 2023

Parks and Natural Areas Roundtable Meeting will take place Sept 11th, 2023 from 2pm – 4pm, at:

The Parks and Natural Areas (PNA) Roundtable’s mission is to “assist in the development of public policy initiatives to expand parks and natural areas in the 13-county H-GAC region for the improved quality of life, habitat, and water quality”.

This group meets in a roundtable format, does not consist of a formal board, and is open to anyone interested in participating.

They will be discussing prairies in the region with a panel of experts including:

• Royce Daniels, Environmental Field Operations Coordinator, Harris County Pct. 1
• Jaime González, Community & Equitable Conservation Programs Director, The Nature Conservancy in Texas
• Cassidy Kempf, Habitat Restoration Manager, City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department
• Mary Anne Piacentini, President and CEO, Coastal Prairie Conservancy 
• Schyler Rhea, Conservationist, Wildlife Habitat Federation
• Garry Stephens, Executive Managing Director, Wildlife Habitat Federation
