Grazing Forage
0 Comment
WHF conservationist Coleman Stilwell spent the day with a landowner measuring forage production on adaptive grazing land. By clipping a small area and weighing the clippings, we are able to estimate the amount of current forage production per acre in a given pasture or property. This is one step of the process in estimating grazing intensity and proper stocking rate. Reach out to us if you are interested in creating a grazing plan for your property.
