Brush Clearing

This unique property lies within the claypan savannah ecosite of Texas and has a canopy of pine trees. The understory consisted of solid yaupon and a dense layer of pine needles. Brush clearing with a dozer was used to open up the canopy and remove most of the yaupon and pine needle to seed in a native grass and wildflower mix. Brush clearing is a necessary starting point to get your property in a state to do the easier management practices such as herbicide application and prescribed burning. Message us today if you would like a consultation on your property on brush clearing practices and cost share programs for brush clearing in your area.
